20世纪90年代《天天日报》副刊小说连载情况研究

摘要：香港《天天日报》历经40年发展，最终在21世纪初因经济亏损等原因退出香港报刊舞台。《天天日报》的停刊并非一时的崩溃，而是在上世纪90年代已现端倪。对1992年至1994年《天天日报》副刊小说连载情况进行梳理后发现，《天天日报》副刊经历了以小说连载专栏为主到以杂文专栏为主的版面内容变化。结合香港商业化的社会环境进行分析，副刊小说专栏的衰减，是报纸经营权的变动、媒介的多样化发展，以及回归过渡期社会关注内容的变化等多方影响的结果。本质而言，这是报纸在自由的市场竞争中，以销售赢利为目的、读者需求为导向而进行的不断调整。

Title: Research on the Serial Novels in the Supplements of Tin Tin Daily News in the 1990s (1992-1994)

Abstract: Tin Tin Daily News had a 40-year development journey, but ultimately withdrew from the Hong Kong newspaper stage in the early 21st century due to reasons such as economic losses. The closure of Tin Tin Daily News was not an abrupt collapse but had shown signs of trouble in the 1990s. After sorting out the serial novels in the supplement of this newspaper from 1992 to 1994, it was found that the supplement of Tin Tin Daily News experienced a change in content from mainly featuring serial novel columns to mainly featuring essay columns. Analyzing in the context of Hong Kong’s commercialized social environment, the decline of the serial novel columns in the supplement of Tin Tin Daily News was the result of multiple factors, including changes in newspaper management rights, diversified development of the media, and changes in the social focus during the transition period before Hong Kong’s return. Essentially, the changes in the content of newspaper supplements are continuous adjustments made by publishers in the free market competition, aimed at sales profitability and readers’ needs.
