Cross-Cultural Echoes of Women: A Review of Zhao Shuqin and Lei Ziyi’s British Influence and Chinese Women’s Literature in the Past Century

Abstract: The modern transformation of a century of Chinese women’s literature has always been closely linked to the influence of Western literary trends, which has profoundly influenced the creative practice of contemporary Chinese women writers. Co-authored by Zhao Shuqin and Lei Ziyi, British Influence and Chinese Women’s Literature in the Past Century, after making a general overview of Chinese and British women’s literature with a reasonable layout, selects six pairs of writers for case comparison, systematically sorts out and interprets the enlightenment and nourishment of British literature on Chinese women’s literature over a century, as well as the subjective construction and creative innovation of Chinese women writers in the process of accepting such influence. Based on the book’s structural arrangement, case selection, discussion methods, research perspectives and value orientation, this paper attempts to evaluate its academic value and innovative significance in the fields of women’s literature and comparative literature, so as to provide reference for subsequent cross-cultural women’s literature research.

标题：跨越中西的女性回音：评赵树勤与雷梓燚的《英国影响与百年中国女性文学》
摘要：百年中国女性文学的现代转型始终与西方文学思潮的影响紧密相连，深刻影响了中国现当代女性作家的创作实践。赵树勤与雷梓燚合著的《英国影响与百年中国女性文学》，以合理的布局对中、英的女性文学进行概括性综论后，选取了六对作家进行个案对比，系统梳理并阐释了百年间英国文学对中国女性文学的启蒙与滋养，以及中国女性作家在接受其影响的过程中的主体性建构与创作创新。本文结合该书的结构编排、案例选取、论述手法、研究视角及价值导向，试评析其在女性文学与比较文学领域的学术价值与创新意义，为后续跨文化女性文学研究提供参考与借鉴。
